Powered Netbook

Company iUnika Spanish origin has shown four netbook on LibreMeeting event supported by the Free Knowledge Foundation in Madrid. Among these there is the latest netbook two super model netbook-friendly environment that supports solar panels and bio-materials made of plastic.


Environment-friendly devices are sold in price range 130 to 160 euros, equivalent to 180 dollars to 220 U.S. dollars. 700 grams weight and use the Linux operating system and processor speed 400MHz.iUnika has put 64GB of flash memory as a media store, 128MB of RAM, WiFi and 10/100 Ethernet for connectivity. Netbook with 8-inch screen capable of supporting this resolution 800x480 pixels.

Although there are versions that use a solar panel on the casing of bio-plastic that can be recycled, visible from the panel image is not enough to produce power more than 4 watts. With power consumption of around 3 - 4 watt solar panel likely only enough to save the data right after the battery runs out and shutdown properly. The existence of a new netbook is marketed circulating in the market around June.
